anna asked:

I have an 88 Toyota Truck 4×4 5 speed. I found a transmission out of a 91 4×4 5 speed. Can these be swapped?
What about the cross member, splines, and drive lines. Will these need to be switched or will they work as well.

as long as both engines are the 22 r they should work i had one and we switched it,and it was supposed to be a 91 model transmission, it was bought from a salvage yard and they couldn’t really verify what year it was from ,but it was marked a 91 and it did work well, good luck with it.
